Click-clack, click-clack, rat tat tat of her high-heeled shoe echoes loudly from each end of the long hallway, as she presses her shoe with each step of her foot onto the ground. You can't see who she is, but you can only hear the sound of her shoe. Picturing this has always intrigued me; maybe because I always tried to imagine the shoe on the woman, or merely because of the sound. I have always loved a high-heeled shoe. It can make any girl feel like a woman. As a child, I would associate high-heels with a certain elegance and sophistication. A simple pair of strappy sling-back pumps, worn with a fabulous mini and tights is my idea of super elegant. They were fascinating how they gripped the heel of your foot, and reformed your posture. A basic black suede pump can look so appealing, and never goes out of style. Along with the sophistication of high-heels comes an air of confidence; from the way you move, walk, and talk. I guess this takes me back to a more glamorous era, when much more people considered high-heels into their every-day wardrobe. Women didn't need an excuse to feel or look sexy.
